I was diagnosed with Alopecia Universalis at 52 after losing all of my head hair, eyelashes, eyebrows, arm and leg hair, and even my nasal hair.
“The confidence I felt when my first Freedom Wig arrived was incredible”
My confidence went pretty much hand-in-hand with my Alopecia. My hair had been my pride and joy and I was devastated when I lost it. I spent a lot of time researching wigs, and after some terrible experiences I thankfully discovered Freedom Wigs – the confidence I felt when my first Freedom Wig arrived was incredible.
Once I’d experienced the difference that a Freedom Wig can make, I decided that I would like to become an independent agent so that I could help others to find the same freedom that I’d found.
When I’m not advocating Freedom Wigs or volunteering my time to Alopecia UK, I enjoy gardening and spending time with my husband, two fabulous sons, and four gorgeous grandchildren.
